JCW recently installed floor screed at the Kellogg’s factory, Trafford Park, as part of a regeneration scheme.

Back in 1938, Kellogg’s opened their first British factory and moved their head office from London to Manchester. Costing £2 million to build, the factory covered 130,000 square-feet and was located within 75 miles of the most densely populated areas in the UK. It also provided great road and rail links and easy access to the Manchester ship canal.

With Kellogg’s being renowned for family favourite cereals like Cornflakes and Rice Krispies, we made sure that our experienced fitters carried out work to an exceptionally high standard – ensuring health and safety procedures were met.

Our screed teams used 350m² of 75mm 1:4 (bagged) Tufscreed F, M Bond epoxy bonding coat and 1 tonne of bagged screed material – supplied by Tarmac Building Products – at the Kellogg’s factory in Manchester.
