JCW Floor Screeding recently installed floor screeding at Burnley General Teaching Hospital as part of a refurbishment project.

State of the art, Burnley General Teaching Hospital, provides general and specialist medical and surgical services, as well as diagnostics and support.

Providing treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, 2010 saw the opening of the £32 million Lancashire women and newborn centre which includes a consultant-led maternity unit, a Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit and so much more.

A smooth, even surface is vital in high-traffic environments, like these, which is where our screed gangs came in. We made sure all products were installed correctly at Burnley General Teaching Hospital.

To install floor screed at Burnley General Teaching Hospital, Tarmac Building Products supplied us with:

  • 1800m² of 75mm 1:4 Tufscreed F (wheelbarrowed)

  • 1200g polythene
